The giraffe spirit tells us to look ahead, to see the wider view, to change paths and find the right one. Oscar Wilde’s Selfish Giant failed to see the bigger picture, he should have been more like the giraffe. At the end of the episode, we ask “Three Questions” to the young. Once a connection is established with young, questioning promotes higher order thinking and sets young children up to be more like the giraffe in adulthood.
